As promised for all my knowledge people out there, here is all the science behind personality science and why it works. But of course, we are hoping that sure this isn’t going to be the first time you’ve heard of personality science, but if it is this is the perfect place to learn all about it.
Then from there another famous philosopher, Galen, took Hippocrates theory to another level. He believed the different diseases and personalities could be explained by imbalances in the “humor” or fluids in the human bodies, and he believed that each person was one of the four temperaments. For example, a person who is choleric is passionate, ambitious and both, whereas someone who is melancholic is received, anxious, and unhappy.
Fast forwarding today’s world, many more philosopher, psychologist, theorist, etc. have continued to fine-tune and expand on personality science. We have come so far in personality science that now, today, we have many many different types of personality test. Some of the popular ones are DiSC, Myers Briggs, Kolbe, the color code, animals, and many more. Here is the thing though these tests are great and all (once you get through the 45 minutes it takes to take one of these tests), they only give information about one person and that one person is you. They just give more information about our favorite subject…us. They don’t give us information about your friends or families, and they sure don’t give you information about who your customer is and what is the best way to communicate with them is. It doesn’t uncover why your customer or prospects buy, it doesn’t tell you what your customers value, and what they are looking for. And it doesn’t tell you want is the best way to communicate with your customer is…But BANK does. That’s what the creator of the BANK, Cheri Tree, did. She loved all the personality test, and she loved learning all about herself but, in the end, these personality test did not increase her sales, they weren’t teaching her the best way to communicate with her customer, and they weren’t teaching her why her customer bought in the first place. It’s wasn’t about what they wanted that would get them to buy or the benefits, it was all about what each individual values. And once you learn and master communicating with each code, not only will your business increase but it could even double or triple your income.
